The real purpose of the military

The historians will not be kind to the military in writing about the fall of the American empire.  Every  officer takes an oath to uphold the Constitution of the U.S. and swears to defend the document against foreign and domestic enemies.  Well, the U.S. armed forces haven't won a war since WW II.  The military has remained silent while countless bureaucrats and politicians who have sworn that same oath, violate our document.  Some politicians have actually stated publicly that the Constitution is old and has lost it's relevance.  Some politicians are declared communists and therefore clearly hostile to the Constitution.  Epic Fail!
